Add Observations
The Observations panel on the Objective template displays encounter-based flowsheets when an observation exam is selected. Observations can be added and updated by opening the different observation templates to document observed findings. The observation options appear in the left pane. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select an observation option from the left pane. For example, Transfers/Bed. Observations Click Add.The corresponding observations template appears. In this example, the Pt Transfers template opens as Transfers/Bed is selected. Pt Transfers Enter the required details. Update an Edema Record
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Objective template, navigate to the Edema panel. Highlight the row in the grid. Click Edit.The Edema details template opens. Make relevant edits on the template. Click Save. Parent topic: Document Edema Details

Update a Referral
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select to highlight the referral on the Referral History grid that you want to update. Select Edit.The Referrals – Orders template appears. Referrals Order Update the template with the new information. Select Save.You are returned to the Care Coordination Home Page with the entry for the referral updated in the Referral History grid. Update a Problem
You can modify a documented problem. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Histories template. In the Problem List panel, select a problem.The problem details are filled in the fields at the end of the grid. Update the required fields. Select Add/Update. Health Monitor

Update a Barrier to Care
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select to highlight the barrier to care on the Barriers to Care panel that you want to update. Select the Edit button.The Barriers to Care template appears populated with data for the selected barrier to care. Update the fields on the template as required. Select the Save & Close button.You are returned to the Care Coordination Home Page with the selected barrier to care updated on the Barriers to Care grid.
