When you update a historical diagnostics study on the Diagnostic Study - Orders template, the system automatically updates the corresponding studies reviewed record in the Reason for Visit panel.
 
  - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 
  - Open the Histories template.
 
  - In the Diagnostic Studies panel, to update a diagnostic study, select and double-click a diagnostic study from the grid.
   
    The Diagnostic Study - Orders template opens.
   
 
  - Update the Interpretation and Result as needed.
 
  - Select Save.
   
    The record is updated. If the record is previously added to the Reason for Visit panel, the corresponding record is also updated in the Reason for Visit panel.
   
 
  - Select Close.
