Add a New Flowsheet Setup

Access the Flowsheets Setup practice template . Select a Condition by clicking the Condition field down-arrow and selecting a value from the list that opens . Click OK. Select a Provider by clicking the Provider field down-arrow and select a provider name from the Rendering Provider list (that is, list of providers currently in the system), if required. Click OK. Note: Selecting a provider creates a flowsheet setup at the provider level for the provider selected. Not selecting a provider creates a flowsheet setup at the practice level for all providers within the practice. In the Metric Flowsheet Items section, select details for a new metric to add to the flowsheet: Click the left field and select an appropriate category for the new flowsheet item from the list that opens. Click the right field and select the name of the new flowsheet item from the list that opens. Click Add to add the new metrics flowsheet item to the grid. Rearrange the Order of Items in a Flowsheet Setup

You can re-arrange the order of items in a setup and how they appear in flowsheets by category or change the order of items within a category or sort the items alphabetically at the category level in the grid in the Flowsheet Setup template. Remove an Item from a Flowsheet Setup

Access the Flowsheets Setup practice template . From the Metrics Flowsheet Items grid, select the metrics flowsheet item row that you want to delete. For example, select Vital Signs Body Surface Area row. Click Remove to delete the item row from the grid. The Vital Signs Body Surface Area row has been removed from the Metrics Flowsheet Items grid. Metrics

You can view the metrics for a patient and can be configured using the Flowsheets Setup template. In the Metrics panel you can view metrics for a patient, lab and vital signs values, for up to 10 rows of data. Data appears in a flowsheet format, you can be configure it on the Flowsheets Setup practice template. The Metrics data grid is view-only. Metrics When you first open the Care Guidelines grid view template and expand the Metrics panel, it appears blank. Flowsheets do not appear until you select a guideline listed in the left pane in Outstanding Guidelines. Note: A guideline should have metrics configured in order to display flowsheets. Flowsheets in the Metrics panel are configured on the Flowsheets Setup practice template. Default flowsheet is setup at the practice level and comes shipped with the system, and can be edited or added. You can also setup the flowsheets. Open the Flowsheets Setup Practice Template You can create a flowsheet setup or configure the existing flowsheet.

View Metrics Flowsheets on the Care Guidelines Template

Providers can view metrics for a patient such as lab and vital signs values, for up to 10 rows of data on the Care Guidelines template in the Metrics panel. Data is displayed in a flowsheet format that can be configured by practice or by provider on the Flowsheets Setup practice template. The Metrics grid is view-only and displays results from the Orders module. The Metrics grid also displays vital signs and vision screening. Metrics flowsheets are displayed on the Metrics panel when you select a condition listed in the blue left side pane of the Care Guidelines template. The conditions listed are those for which clinical guidelines have been activated for the patient. When you first open the Care Guidelines template and expand the Metrics panel, it appears blank. Flow sheets do not appear until you select a guideline listed in the blue left side bar under Outstanding Guidelines.
