Manage the My Plan Grid

The Assessment / Plan Navigation Configuration panel allows you to create or update dynamic My Plan templates based on practice or provider. You can also update the captions, templates, and sequence of the tabs. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. Select the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel.The default configuration for the selected specialty, practice, and provider appears in all the specialty and practice grids in the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration. In the grid, select an item. To move one or more items from the specialty grid to the provider or practice grid, select to move one item at a time and select to move all items at once. Note: You can update the caption, template name, and sort order of the items. Update Specialty-Specific My Plan Grids

You can update a specialty-specific My Plan grid using the Assessment/Plan Navigation configuration panel. You can also update the captions, templates, and sequence of the tabs. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel.The default configuration for the selected specialty appears in the specialty grid. Modify the Sequence of the My Plan Tab

You can change the sequence of the tabs that appear on the My Plan template using the Sort Order option. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select a speciality, practice, or provider. Select the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. In the specialty, practice, or provider grid, select a row that represents a tab on the My Plan template.The details about the tab appears in the Caption, Template Name, and Sort Order fields. Note: In this example, if you select the My Plan row item, the sort order appears as 2. That is, the My Plan tab is the second tab. To select a different row, select Clear. To remove the template mapping for a selected caption, select in the Template Name field and then select the Clear link. Select in the Sort Order field and then select a number.In this example, to set the My Plan tab as the last tab, select 8. Manage the My Plan Tab Caption and Template Name

You can update or remove a My Plan tab caption for a specialty, practice, or provider using the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select a specialty, practice, or provider. Select the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. Select a row that represents a tab on the My Plan template. To select a different row, select Clear.In this example, the Family Practice specialty grid has a Labs tab on the My Plan template. The grid shows the caption, the mapped template name, and the sort order. To remove the caption, select the Caption field and remove or update the text. To modify a template name, do one of the following: To remove the template name, select the field and select Clear. To update the template name, select in the field and select a template. Note: You cannot clear the Caption or the Template Name fields after you select Update. Select Update.The Labs row you selected appears as a blank

Copy the Current Configurations

You can copy the current configurations to another specialty, practice, or provider using the copy button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. To copy your preferences on the Framework Content system template, select the Specialty, Practice, or Provider. In the Copy To section, enter any or all of the following: Specialty Practice Provider Copy To option To duplicate the setup preferences, select the Copy button.The template refreshes with the selected preferences for the specialty, practice, or provider. Select Current Configurations by Specialty

You can view the current configurations by specialty from the lists present on the Framework Content template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. In the Specialty field, select a specialty.The configuration of the selected specialty appears in all the sections of the system template.
