Search for Commonly Used Phrases

You can search for specific phrases from the existing My Phrases or Common Phrases lists.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Open the Histories template.
3. In the Family panel, select Add.
   The Family Health History template opens.
4. Select a condition and select the Comments link.
   The Family History Comments template opens.

   

5. Select the My Phrases link.
   The Manage My Phrases/Common Phrases template opens.

   

6. Do one of the following:
   • Select My Phrases, then select Summary or Phrase.
     Note: Both is selected by default. With the Both selected, you can search for a specific phrase from the entire My Phrases list.
   • To search a specific common phrase, select Common Phrases.
7. In the search field, enter at least three characters of the phrase, and then select Search.
   The search result appears in the grid below the search field.
