Select and Review Care Guideline Items to Restore

You can use the Report and Restore panel to search, review, and restore a patient's care guidelines during the same cleanup session in which they were removed. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guidelines Clear and Restore, and then select OK Expand the Report and Restore panel, and then in Apply to, select All Practice or Current Practice. Select one or more of the following search criteria: Applying Provider Reason type Condition/Reason Guideline Item To search for guideline items filtered by customization, select Exclude Customized or Include Customized, and then select Search. Note: Search becomes available only when you select a filter criterion. Records matching the search criteria appear in the Report and Restore grid. Select the records and then select Restore. Reporting and Restoring Selected Patient Level Care Guidelines Data

You can report and restore a patient's care guidelines data using the Report and Restore panel. You can restore care guidelines data only during the same cleanup session in which they were removed. You can run a search to view records for care guideline items to restore, including the number of patients and encounters that restoring them affects. After selecting filter options, running the search, and viewing results, you can decide to restore the patient level guideline data for the guideline items displayed in the grid. Filter options can be adjusted until the grid displays those guideline items you wish to restore. To restore patient-level data for the selected guidelines displayed in the grid, you must select the Restore button while the care guidelines application is in Cleanup mode, and no data can be entered for patients or activities related to care guidelines. Remove Patient Level Data for Displayed Care Guideline Items after Review

You can remove a patient level data for displayed care guideline item after review. After completing your review, you can choose to remove patient data for the care guideline items displayed in the report and remove data grid. All of the items listed in the grid are the guideline items for which patient level data is removed from the application when you select the start button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Care Guidelines Cleanup Mode

You can cleanup a patient's care guidelines using the Report and Remove panel. After performing a search to filter and care guideline items to review, you can decide to remove patient level data from the care guidelines items displayed in the grid. Note: You can remove patient level data from the care guidelines items, and later restore the same data using the Report and Restore panel. You can select the Start button in the Report and Remove panel on the Care Guidelines Clear and Restore practice template to set the care guidelines application to Cleanup mode. A Stop button replaces the Start button while the care guidelines application is in Cleanup mode. Report and Remove While the care guidelines application is in Cleanup mode, cannot document any care guidelines data or activities for patients. Reporting and Removing Selected Patient Level Care Guidelines Data

You can report and remove a patient's care guidelines using the Care Guidelines Clear and Restore template. The Report and Remove panel on the Care Guidelines Clear and Restore practice template allows you to run a search to select and view records for guideline items and the number of patients that they affect, along with the number of affected encounters. After running the search and viewing results, you can decide to remove the patient level guideline data for the guideline items displayed in the grid. Select the Start button to put the care guidelines application in Cleanup mode. While the system is in Cleanup mode, do not enter the data for patients or perform activities related to care guidelines. Care guideline items are reviewed and removed for one practice or for all of the practices in an enterprise. Note: The grid displays the guideline records after you select the search criteria. Reset Patient-Level Care Guidelines Content

You can reset a patient's care guidelines using the Care Guidelines Clear and Restore template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, Select System/Practice Templates.The Select Template window opens. From the Practice tab, select All.A list of practice-level templates opens. Select Care Guidelines Clear and Restore, and then select OK. The Care Guidelines Clear and Restore practice template opens. To remove the care guidelines, expand the Reset Patient Care Guidelines panel, and then do one the following: Select the Permanently remove old pre-Care Guidelines Protocols records checkbox. If required, select the Include ALL practices checkbox. Select the Permanently remove all patient Immunization guideline records checkbox. If required, select the Include ALL practices checkbox.
