Attach Document or Image to Cardiac Procedures

You can attach an encounter document, a scanned document, or an image to a cardiac procedure using the See attached document field on the procedure template. When you attach a document or an image, the Attachment column in the Cardiac Procedures grid on the Cardiac Procedure panel changes to Y. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Cardiology Procedures template by clicking the Procedures tab. On the Cardiology Procedures template, click the Cardiac Procedures panel. Select a category in the left pane and select a procedure from the list. The corresponding procedure template opens. Enter the procedure details. Select See scanned document. The Scanned Document/Image window opens. Select an item to attach to the procedure and click OK. To attach a different document, do the following. Click the CI button . Click the attachment field and select a document or image. Click Accept. The attachment has been added to the procedure. Parent topic: Cardiac Procedure Attachments

Cardiac Procedure Attachments

You can attach an image or a document to the cardiology procedure template. The See scanned document checkbox on the selected procedure template enables you to attach one of the following to the cardiology procedures. A scanned document An encounter document An image When you attach a document or image to a cardiac procedure template, the Attachment indicator in the Cardiac Procedures grid changes to Y. The Cardiac Procedures panel provides the following viewing options. Launch Template opens the procedure template regardless of the value in the Attachment column. Note: The corresponding template opens for procedures with an N indicator in the Attachment column. Remove a Procedure Finding

You can remove a procedure finding from the grid using the Procedure Findings panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All.A list of practice templates opens. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Procedure Findings panel. Select a row from the grid in the Procedure Findings panel. Select Remove. Add Procedures to Cardiac Problem Lists

You can add procedures to cardiac problem lists on the Cardiology procedures template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Cardiology Procedures template, click the Procedures tab. Select the Add to Cardiac Problem List checkbox. Cardiology Procedures Panel In the Cardiology Procedures grid, select the procedure to add to cardiac problems. Remove a Section

You can remove a procedure documentation or finding section from the grid using the Sections panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All.A list of practice templates opens. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Sections panel. Select a procedure from the Procedure field. Select the Procedure documentation or Procedure findings option. The configured sections appear in the grid. Select the applicable row in the grid. Select Remove, and then to confirm, select Yes.The selected row is removed from the grid. Remove a New Procedure Group

You are not able to remove any procedure group packaged with your version of NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Manage Procedure Groups and Codes practice template. Select the row in the grid for the procedure group to be removed. The Remove button is enabled. Click Remove to delete the procedure group and the associated description. Click Save from the top toolbar. Click Close from the toolbar to return to your regular workflow.
