Modify an Interface Details

You can update interface details in the Interface section. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll to the Interface section. In the Interface grid, double-click a row to be edited. The Interface Configuration template opens. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields. Select Save and then select Close.The modified data updates in the grid. Parent topic: Interfaces

Add an Interface Details

You can enter new interface details in the Interface section. On the Practice Configuration template, scroll to the Interface section. Right-click the grid and select Add New.The Interface Configuration template opens. Interface Configuration template In Interface, enter the name of the interface. In Interface executable path, enter the path where the executable file (.exe) of the interface is located. In Interface executable file, enter the exact name of the interface executable file (.exe file). In Command, enter the required command line parameters to pass information to the interface. Select the Enabled checkbox when the interface is active or in use. Select Save and then select Close.The interface details display in the Interface grid. Parent topic: Interfaces

Interfaces

You can add interface information installed in your workstation, and use the interface in your workflow using the Interfaces section. The configuration in the Interfaces section is applicable for practices having the NextGen Healthcare interfaces installed in their workstation. Remove an Equipment Record

In the Categories panel, you can remove an equipment type and the associated details from the grid. On the Equipment Log practice template, expand the Categories panel. In the Categories panel, select a row of equipment in the grid. Click Remove. To confirm, click Yes. The selected row is deleted from the grid. Parent topic: Configure Equipment Types

Delete a Diagnosis

You can delete a diagnosis that was added on an encounter. Before you begin Make sure that the applicable template with the Diagnosis grid is open. In the Diagnosis grid, select the diagnosis. Diagnosis grid Click Remove. Note: If you are not on the encounter where the diagnosis was added, a message appears stating that the diagnosis can be removed only from the encounter where it was added. The Reason window opens. Delete the Custom Links

In the Manage Custom Links practice template, click Link to and select an item from the list. Select a row in the grid to be deleted. Click Delete. The selected custom link is removed from the grid and a confirmation message appears. Parent topic: Create and Manage Custom Links
