Personalized Orderables

You can personalize individual orderables care guidelines for a patient. The personalized orderables functionality enables you to select individual tests to follow for the patient, without activating an entire guideline. For example, you may want to follow hemoglobin A1c lab test for the patient even though the patient does not have a diagnosis of diabetes. You can create a Personalized Orderable items for any number of individual tests. Tests will be tracked in the care guidelines application as orderable guideline items, and will appear in the left pane below personalized item. Remove a Personalized Reminder

You can remove a personalized reminder related to patient on the Personalized Reminder/Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link. The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select a reminder listed in the grid. The reminder and its details populate the fields above the grid. Select Remove. The reminder disappears from the grid and does not display in Active or Completed view. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Personalized Reminders

Update a Personalized Reminder

You can update a personalized reminder related to patient on the Personalized Reminder or Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link. The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select a reminder listed in the grid. The reminder and its details appear in the fields above the grid. Make any changes to the reminder. Text of the reminder Due date Tasking Select Add/Update. The reminder appears in the grid with updated with information. Select Save & Close or Cancel. Parent topic: Personalized Reminders

Remove/Inactivate an Existing Orderable Guideline Item

You can remove an orderable test item of a patient on the Care Guideline Setup template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Intervention/Orders Setup panel, select the guideline or test item from the grid.Details for the guideline or test item appear in the fields above the grid. Select Remove.The guideline or test item no longer appears in the grid as active for the selected Reason type. Mark a Personalized Reminder as Complete

You can update a personalized reminder related to patient on the Personalized Reminder/Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link.The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select a reminder listed in the grid. The reminder and its details populate the fields above the grid. Select the Completed checkbox. The current date and the logged in user’s name appear in the fields to the right of the checkbox. The reminder disappears from the grid’s Active view. Select Add/Update. Select the Completed option above the grid to display a list of completed reminders. Remove a Guideline

You can remove a guideline for a patient on the Care Guideline Setup template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Care Guidelines Setup template, expand the Define Guideline Reasons & Auto Application panel. Select the guideline from the data grid. Details listed in the grid for the guideline fill in the fields above the grid. Select the Remove button. The guideline no longer displays in the grid with active guidelines.
