Update a Personalized Reminder

You can update a personalized reminder related to patient on the Personalized Reminder or Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link. The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select a reminder listed in the grid. The reminder and its details appear in the fields above the grid. Make any changes to the reminder. Creating a Personalized Reminder

You can create a personalized reminder related to patient Personalized Reminder or Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link. The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Enter your reminder using text, in the Reminder field. Note: You can enter upto 150 characters in the field. Personalized Reminder/Orderable Select the Due field and select a date from the on-screen Calendar. Note: Due date is a required field. To task your reminder so that it appears in the Inbox for a selected workgroup, select the Add Task link, and select a task workgroup from the list. The task recipient's workgroup appears in a field that becomes visible to the right of the Add Task link. To clear the fields, select the Clear button. Select Add/Update to add the reminder. Mark a Personalized Reminder as Complete

You can update a personalized reminder related to patient on the Personalized Reminder/Orderable template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add/Update Reminders link.The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select a reminder listed in the grid. The reminder and its details populate the fields above the grid. Select the Completed checkbox. The current date and the logged in user’s name appear in the fields to the right of the checkbox. The reminder disappears from the grid’s Active view. Select Add/Update. Select the Completed option above the grid to display a list of completed reminders. Personalized Reminders

You can create and track reminders related to patient using personalized reminders. You can create and track reminders to yourself related to the patient using the Personalized Reminders functionality . For example, reminder to revisit something that you discussed with the patient during this encounter at their next visit. You can create a Personalized Reminder for anything that you want to remember within the patient’s chart. Tasking allows you to send a reminder to your Inbox. Reminders are tracked in the care guidelines template, and appear in the left pane below Patient’s guidelines. You can print reminders in documents, but a procedure available in the frequently asked questions section of the Care Guidelines Setup template in the FAQs panel allows you to update documents so that reminders are not included. Remove a Personalized Orderable Item

You can remove a personalized orderable guideline item of a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel and select the Add Orderable link. The Personalized Reminder/Orderables template opens. Select an orderable item listed in the Personalized Guidelines grid. The orderable item and its details appear in the fields above the grid. Select Remove. The item no longer appears in the grid. Update or Delete a Reminder

You can modify reminder details for a patient on the Telephone Call template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Telephone Call template, expand the Reminder panel. Select a reminder from the grid. To update the reminder details, modify the details, and then select Update. The updated reminder appears in the grid. To delete the reminder details, select Remove.
