Open the Patient Status Template

You can open the Patient Status information template by using Quality in the Medications section. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake or SOAP template. Expand the Medications section. Managing Basic User Interface Functionality

Care Guidelines Configuration

You can configure the care guidelines for a patient on the Care Guidelines template. You can use the Care Guidelines templates in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine to handle health maintenance and disease management, including guideline testing and screening, and recommended care. The provides detailed information about configuration required before the Care Guidelines templates are used in a clinical setting, it is suitable for the individuals who are responsible for setting up and maintaining the system. Access Medication Configuration Template

A practice can customize the content that appears in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine (formerly NextGen KBM). This section provides access instructions for the Medication Configuration system template. Log on to NextGen® Enterprise (formerly NextGen Ambulatory EHR). From the File menu, select System/Practice Template. The Select Template window appears. In the Show section, click the All option. A list of system templates appears in the System tab. Care Guidelines Introduction

You can control the functions for a patient using the Care Guidelines template. In NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, the Care Guidelines templates are used to handle health maintenance and disease management functions, including guideline testing and screening, and recommended care. The Care Guidelines templates are available from all the specialty template sets. CAUTION: The Care Guidelines templates are used in a clinical setting with patients. Individuals responsible for maintaining the system need to carefully review the content available on the templates. You can update the content as necessary to meet the needs of the practice.
