Procedure Orders Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Procedure Orders panel allows the providers to document the procedure orders. The procedure orders are pre-configured on the Procedure Orders and Discharge Instructions practice template. For more information on procedure order configuration, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Procedure Order & Discharge Instruction Practice Template User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Procedure Orders If the current encounter includes only one procedure, then system displays the procedure in the Procedure field. If the current encounter includes more than one procedure, the system displays first procedure in the Procedure field. If the case ID of the encounters is the same, then the procedure orders documented in the panel carry forward to the Procedure Orders panel on the other Ambulatory Surgery framework templates in the next encounters with the same case ID. Note: If a provider/clinical support staff selects a procedure in the Procedure Order panel in the

Reason for Visit Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template allows the provider to document the chief complaints of the patient. Note: The Reason for Visit options are dependent on the specialty selected. Reason for Visit The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel. Note: If you remove any reason for visit by selecting the Additional/Manage link, then the reason is deleted from the Reason for Visit panel and not from the Procedure panel, and if you update any existing procedures in the Procedure panel, then a new record is added in the Reason for Visit panel. In the Reason for Visit panel, if you select the Do not launch HPI checkbox and then select a reason, the system displays the selected reason in the grid without opening the HPI template. If the required reason(s) is not available in the left pane of the Reason for Visit panel, then you can select the Additional/Manage link to select the appropriate reason from the Reason f

Standing Orders Sub-Navigational Link
