Manage Immunizations for Well Child

You can view lists of administered vaccines and track pending immunizations in the Immunizations panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. You can also add new vaccine orders for patients and add or review allergy details in the Immunizations panel. Select the Immunizations Chart or Recommendation Schedules

When you access the Immunizations module, you can select either the Chart or the Recommendation schedule. From the Orders Module, select the Immunizations tab. Either the Immunizations or Recommendation Schedule appears. To select another schedule, select either the Chart tab or the Recommendation tab. Note: The Recommendation schedule view is the system default. If you selected the Chart view on the Preferences window, the Chart view appears. For more information on setting the view preference, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Orders Module User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Links on the Intake Template

You can open different templates to document the patient details through the links on the Intake template. The Intake template includes the following links: Link Description Standing Orders Opens the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of diagnoses, and bill orders. Adult Immunizations Adds vaccine and allergy details of adult patients. Peds Immunizations Adds vaccine, medication, and allergy details of pediatric patients. My Plan Records the treatment plan of a patient on the My Plan template. Procedures Records the details of procedures performed during the patient encounter. Order Management Updates the applicable order details. Note: The links are also available on the Intake and SOAP templates. The Standing Orders, Adult Immunizations, Peds Immunizations, and Procedures links are common to all specialties. Viewing Immunizations Schedules and Vaccine Statuses

The Immunizations module enables you to access Immunizations schedules to determine when an immunization is due for a patient. You can also track the immunizations life cycle, including the immunization status. You can view the following schedule types when you access the Immunizations module: Chart Recommendation Registry Select the Immunizations Chart or Recommendation Schedules Viewing Additional Immunization Details on a Schedule The system displays detailed information about Immunizations when you uselect an Immunization status on the Chart view or Recommendation view.
