Health Promotion Plan Data Set

The Health Promotion Plan data set enables you to customize the Health Promotion Plan. You can configure the plan type, the label of the fields, the fields where the data is being stored, and the custom DB picklist that should launch from the field. NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine provides three standard Health Promotion Plans that meet the Quality Reporting requirements. BMI Plan Depression Plan Hypertension Plan CAUTION: The BMI, Depression, and Hypertension plans contain Quality Reporting coded values. NextGen Healthcare does not recommend that you modify the existing plans as this information is needed for successful Quality Reporting. Add Patient Safety Report under the Patient Safety Reports Data Set

On the Patient Safety Report template, when you select Report Filter, a list appears with a list of Patient Safety Report appropriate for your current configuration and use of the system. If a patient safety defect is found and the data cannot be automatically changed, a report is available to review data that might need to be updated at your practice. Note: NextGen Healthcare does not recommend modifying the existing Patient Safety Report list on the Data Sets Setup template. On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select Patient Safety Reports.The existing data set items associated with the Patient Safety Reports data set appear in the grid. Patient Safety Reports data set Select Add.The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Edit Patient Safety Report Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select Patient Safety Reports.The existing data set items associated with the Patient Safety Reports data set appear in the grid. Highlight a grid to modify. Select Update.The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Make the necessary changes in the applicable fields. Select Save, and then select Close. Remove Patient Safety Report Data Set Items

Patient Demographics

You can review a selected patient's demographic information in the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Patient Demographics template. You can also add or edit the default pharmacy, historical addresses, reminders, emergency contacts, and employment. To update other patient information, use the Modify Patient Information window. To add a patient, use the Add Patient Information window. Documenting Dental Patient Encounters

You can use the Home Page and Histories templates in NextGen Adaptive Content Engine to document the encounter details of a dental patient. The Dental User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine is intended for dental professionals, such as providers, nurses, and front office staff, responsible for documenting and processing patient information. The Dental User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine also provides information on how to document pediatric dental care. You can document the dental office and virtual visit workflows on the Home Page and Histories templates. Before documenting a standard visit, you must configure settings to quickly access the templates. The common configurations associated with the templates include the links in the navigation bar, reasons for visit, medications, allergies, social history and so on.
