Generate the OB Audit Log

In the OB Audit Log practice template, click the Type of Log field. A list of audit log types opens. In the Date Range section, click Start and select a start date from the calendar. Click End, and select an end date from the calendar. Click Populate to generate the audit log. A row is added to the Ob audit grid and populated with the following details: User Name Encounter ID Modified Date/Time Field Old Value New Value Note: If no data is present in the OB Initial Physical Exam Findings template, the audit log remains empty and no row is added to the grid below. Obstetrics section The Parity detail auto calculation section is used to activate the automatic calculation of parity at the point of care when the pregnancy outcomes are entered. When the parity automatic calculations feature is turned off, the text "Parity auto-calculations not activated" appears. When you activate the Parity automatic calculate feature, the system adds a log in the OB Audit Log practice template. On the OB Audit Log practice template, you need to select the Parity detail auto calculation log type and the date range to view the items that have discrepancies in the parity numbers when compared to the pregnancy history grid entries. If the parity automatic calculation feature is turned on, the green text Auto-calculation appears on the Pregnancy Outcomes and OBGYN Synopsis templates. If the parity detail data is discrepant between the Pregnancy History grid and parity details fields on the Pregnancy Outcomes and OBGYN Synopsis templates, an alert message appears on the

Tracking Changes of Physical Exam Findings and Parity Auto-calculation Activated Setting

You can keep track of changes of OB Initial physical exam findings and auto-calculated parity values through OB audit log reports. The OB Audit Log practice template enables you to identify what data was changed post the initial documentation, and which can be further reviewed and corrected. You can use this template to: Track changes to the OB Initial Physical Exam Findings template. Track changes to the practice setting Parity Auto-calculation. Activate Automatic Calculation Parity Option

You can activate the automatic calculation parity option in the Practice Configuration template. You can activate the Parity auto-calculation activated setting iin the Practice Configuration practice template. This setting allows you to select whether to automatically calculate parity at the point of care when pregnancy outcomes are entered. You can select the checkbox to automatically calculate the parity when documenting the pregnancy outcome. When this option is activated all Parity Detail fields become read-only. The parity data must match the Pregnancy Outcome entries in the Pregnancy Outcomes grid. The automatic calculation function remains incomplete until the data is synchronized. If you do not select this option you have to manually update the parity details. When a user activates this functionality, it creates a log on the OB Audit Log practice template. Generate OB Audit Log Reports

The OB Audit Log practice template enables you to generate audit logs for a specific time period. The OB Audit Log practice template enables you to generate two different audit log reports: OB PHYSICAL EXAM AUDIT Parity Detail Auto-Calculation These reports capture the changes made to the OB physical exam data based on encounter findings. The OB Audit Log practice template retrieves data from the Ob Initial Physical Exam template. They also show the activation changes made in the Parity auto-calculation activated practice setting. Usually, data for the Ob initial physical exam and parity details should not change for data integrity purposes. Data integrity helps the provider in making decisions about patient care. It is vital that we know not only what data has been captured, but also who is responsible for it. The function of the OB Audit Log practice template is to provide a timeline of all such actions. Turn on the Parity Auto-Calculations Feature

You can configure using the Parity auto calculation config template. Select Activate.The Parity auto calculation config template opens. Note: You need to provide the required browsing rights to the User group(s) in the System Administrator to open the Parity auto calculation config template. Select the Parity auto-calculation activated checkbox. Select Save & Close. Select Yes in the confirmation message. The Parity automatically calculate activated text appears.
