Ophthalmology Diagnostic Tests Setup Data Set

The Oph diagnostic tests data set manages records that control how certain diagnostic tests used by Ophthalmology are processed. These data set records control billing options, how records are sent to the Orders module, computerized provider order entry (CPOE), and if they are displayed on the test ordering template. Each row in the grid represents a single diagnostic test. The following shows the diagnostic test information contained in the Oph diagnostic tests data set as it appears on the Order Tests – OPH template in the Select tests section. Up to 40 tests display. Tests performed today and tests to be performed in the future can be ordered from the Order Tests – OPH template. Tests that are ordered are saved to the order_table and they can be uploaded to the Orders module. OB Test Name Configuration Practice Template

The OB Test Name Configuration practice template enables you to configure the test names related to Obstetrics. OB Test Name Configuration You can configure the obstetric test names on the OB Test Name Configuration practice template. The configured test names appear on the Prenatal Detail template. Add Obstetric Test Names

The obstetric lab test name added on the OB Test Name Configuration template is available in the respective obstetric group panel on the Prenatal Detail template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Show section, select All. Select the Practice tab. To open the OB Test Name Configuration template, select OB Test Name Configuration, and click OK. To view the configured obstetric group panel names, select the Show All check box. To add an obstetric test name in the OB Group panel, select an OB Group. The existing test names associated with the obstetrics group appear in the grid. OB Group In Test Name, provide an appropriate name. Click Add. The test name is added to the selected OB Group. Add Test Types You can add the test type and test description for an obstetric test name. Update Test Type You can update the details for test type and test description of an obstetric test name. Add Test Types

For each obstetric test name, you can add the appropriate lab or radiology name and its description. You can add multiple test types to a test name. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Show section, select All. Select the Practice tab. To open the OB Test Name Configuration template, select OB Test Name Configuration, and click OK. In the OB Test Name panel, select an item under OB Group and Test Name. OB Test Name In Test type, select a test type. To add a description for the test, click Test description.The OB Labs Radiology window opens. Select the appropriate description, and then click OK.The selected test description and the associated test code appear. Click Add.The OB group, test name, test description, and test code details are added to the Test Equivalents grid. To add another record, click Clear All and add the details. OB Test Name Configuration

The OB Test Name Configuration template comprises two panels, OB Group and OB Test Name. The OB Group names present on the template are available as obstetric group panels on the Prenatal Detail template. The obstetric group of panels are: Initial Orders 24-28 Week Orders 32-37 Week Orders Genetic Screening and Testing Maternal Carrier Screening Fetal (Aneuploidy) Chromosomal Testing Ultrasound Orders Optional Orders You can configure the obstetric lab test name, test code, and test description.
