You can modify an existing recommended care item using the Recommended Care practice template.
 
  - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 
  - From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   
    The Select Template window opens.
   
 
  - On the Practice tab, select the All option.
 
  - Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   
    The Care Guideline Setup  practice template opens.
   
 
  - Expand the Manage Groups and Options panel and then select the Recommended Care link.
   
    The Recommended Care practice template opens.
   
 
  - Select the guideline in the Recommended Care grid.
   
    The Attributes/Feedback link appears.
   
 
  - Select the Attributes/Feedback link.
   
    The Attributes View and Management window opens.
   
 
  - Enter or modify the attributes, add feedback, and then select OK.
 
  - Add or delete the items you want in the Goals, Status, and Compliance.
 
  - Select Update.
