Document Recommended Care Items

You can add a recommended care items as condition to the patient's guideline using the Recommended Care practice template.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   The Select Template window opens.
3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
4. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
5. Expand the Manage Groups and Optons panel and then select the Recommended Care link.
   The Recommended Care practice template opens.
6. Enter the Condition, Type, and Recommended Care details.
7. Add the Goals, Statuses, and Compliance details for the recommended care item.
8. Select Add.
   The Recommended Care grid displays the new entry.
