Coded Results Mapping

You can map specific template field values to specific coded values to ensure accurate quality measure reporting on the Coded Results Mapping template. However, several fields on the template are shared from other templates. For the mapping to work properly, you must validate all fields to verify the source table and field names. The mapping must be performed on the source template fields. The information icon on the Coded Results Mapping template provides instructions for using this template. Access the Coded Results Mapping Template You can access the Coded Results Mapping template by performing the following steps. Map SNOMED® Code to LOINC® Code

You can map the SNOMED codes with the translation LOINC codes for Social History Type and Family History Problem Type. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Coded Results Mapping template. Expand the Code Classification panel. Code Classification Select a code classification. Select Code1 System, and then select SNOMED in the list. Select a code1 value. Code1 description is automatically filled. Select Code2 System, and then select LOINC in the list. Select a code2 value.Code2 description is automatically filled. To clear any information you have entered, select Clear. Select Add.The grid displays the mapped code details. Restore the SNOMED® to LOINC® Mapped Record

You can restore the removed SNOMED to LOINC code mapping. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Code Classifications panel, select Removed option above the grid.The grid displays the removed mapping records. Select a record in the grid.The Add button is enabled. Manage SNOMED® to LOINC® Code Mapping

You can update mapping details in the Code Classifications panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To update a mapped record, select a record in the grid in the Code Classification panel.The mapping details appear in the corresponding fields above the grid. Edit the mapping details. Configure HL7 SNOMED and LOINC Codes for Social History and Family History Problem Type

Open the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template and then expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. For Type of configuration, select HL7 and select PHX (Problem History) or SHX (Social History). Select a code system. SNOMED appears as the default code system. Click the field to select a different code system. In the Condition/Management field, enter the code description. To enter a SNOMED code, do one of the following: In the Code field, manually enter the SNOMED code. Select the arrow in the Code field and then search for and select a SNOMED code. The code description appears or is updated in Condition/Management field. To enter a LOINC code, manually enter the code in the Code field. Select Add.
