Manage the Post-Operative Period for a Patient

You can manage the number of post-op days remaining for a patient who has undergone a recent surgical procedure.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. On a patient encounter, open any of the standard visit templates (for example, the Intake template).
3. On the template header, select the Global Days link.
   The Global days template opens.

   

4. Enter the assessment, procedure, and date in the respective fields.
5. Select Add.
   The details appear in the grid.
6. Select Save & Close.
