Button/Icon	Description
	The Quality button opens the Information Display template, which includes information on the quality measure associated with a diagnosis for lower back pain.
	To set up a new quick tasking action, select the cog button to open the Quick Task Setup template.
Quick Task	To select the priority of and/or send the task to a pre-configured recipient for any further action, select Quick Task.
Expand	To open the All Diagnostic Studies - Orders template and view a list of all diagnostic studies ordered in the current encounter, select Expand.

Enter Studies in the Diagnostics Tab

The Today’s Assessments grid includes a list of diagnoses selected in the Assessment tab. The Diagnostic Studies template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates in the group as the working assessment. The system defaults to the current working assessment. You can select another assessment, which becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates in the group. On the Diagnostic Studies template, select Add to open the Add or Update Assessment template and add any additional assessments.The application fills Vendor field automatically with the preferred vendor if it has been configured in the NextGen File Maintenance application. If required, select the Vendor field to select a different value from the resulting list.The application fills Billing Type field automatically based on the selected Vendor. Links and Buttons on the Referrals Order Template

You can use links and buttons on the Referrals Order template to complete the workflow easily. Links, Checboxes, Fields Description Address Detail Verifies and/or updates the referred to and referred by contact information. Internal referral For internal communications. Clinical information/ Comments Documents additional details. Attachments Opens the available attachment details. Instructions Instructions that you provided to the patient. Summary of Care/Record sent Indicates that the records are sent. Links and Buttons on the A/P Details Tab

You can document the A/P Details tab using the available links and buttons. The following links are available on the A/P Details tab: Link Description Previous Patient Plan Opens the Plan Previous Comments template with a read-only grid containing details for the selected assessment Previous Provider Plan Opens the Plan Previous Comments template with a read-only grid containing details for the selected assessment Health Promotion Plan Opens a template of the same name to document CMS data Today's Orders is a display-only field with order-related data pulled from the My Custom Plan template for the selected assessment. The A/P Details tab also allows you to do the following: Element Description Assessment/Plan Expanded View option Saved diagnosis details appear in a grid format similar to how it appears on the SOAP template. The following links, fields, and checkboxes are available on the Referrals tab. Enter an Order

On the Intake template, expand the Orders panel. Click the View of All Orders link. Click Add.Depending on the setting selected on the Practice Configuration template, either the My Plan or My Custom Plan template opens. Enable the DSM IV Link

To document using the DSM IV standards, you must first set up the DSM IV link to appear on the Assessment/Diagnosis panel. The DSM IV link can be enabled on the Practice Configuration or the Documentation Configuration practice templates. You do not need to apply this setting on both templates. The settings applied on either template are shared and do not need to be repeated. Select the File menu and click System/Practice Template. Click the Practice tab and set Show to All. Select one of the following: Practice Configuration Documentation Configuration Scroll down to the Behavioral Health section. Under DSM IV/DSM-5 Assessment/Diagnosis Template Display Options, select the Show DSM IV link option. Click Save and Close at the top right. Enter DSM IV Assessment Details The BH - DSM IV template is used to document DSM IV assessments.
