Enter Practice-Specific Types for the Provider List
Under
EHR Master Files - System
, click
Providers
to open the
Providers List
window.
Double-click the provider name from the list that is being updated.
On the
Modify Provider Information
window, select the
Provider Types
tab.
Click in the second column under
Practice Level Provider Types
to place a green check mark next to the required types.
Click
OK
to finish the
Provider Level
field updates.

Add Practice-Specific Values in the Provider Level Picklist
Log on to File Maintenance. Under Master Files, System, click EHR. Under EHR Master Files - System, click Practices. The Practices List window opens. Double-click the practice in the list to be modified. Click the Preferences button at the bottom of the Modify Practice Information window. The Practice Preferences window appears. In the Preference List, click Provider. Create the necessary User Defined Patient Providers. Click OK, OK, and Close to return to the EHR Master Files - System view. Change Provider Service Level
In File Maintenance, from Master Files > System > EHR, select Providers. The Providers List window opens. Double-click the provider you want to change the service level for. On the Modify Provider Information window, select the ePrescribing tab. In the Retail Service Level section, select the appropriate service levels. Retail Service Level In the Mail Order Service Level section, select the appropriate service levels. Provider Types Tab
All five system-defined provider types and all user-defined provider types, are assigned by default to each provider. When you access the Provider Types tab on the Add/Modify Provider Information window, a check mark displays next to the assigned types. This means that the application continues to list all providers on all window until you change the provider type settings. For example, if you clear the check mark for the First Consulting provider type on the Add/Modify Provider Information window of a physician, that physician is no longer listed as an available First Consulting provider when you create a new encounter for a patient.
