Remove SNOMED® Visit Type Record

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Custom DB Picklists template. In the Custom DB Picklists top grid, select SNOMED_Visit_Type.The selected DB picklist SNOMED_Visit_Type appears in the DBPicklist Name field. In the Step 2 Add/Edit List Item panel, select Configure.If the Configure button is not available in the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items panel. The Custom DBPicklist Setup template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. From the Custom DBPicklist Setup template, select a record from the grid to remove.The details appear in the corresponding fields. Select Remove.The record has been removed from the grid. Enable Configuration for SNOMED® Visit Type

To enable configuration for snomed visit type, you must enable the Configure button.You can enable the Configure button in the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items panel in the Custom DBPicklist Setup template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Custom DB Picklists template. In the Custom DB Picklists top grid, select SNOMED_Visit_Type.The selected DB picklist appears in the DBPicklist Name field. Select Update.The Custom DBPicklist Create and Define template opens. In the Qualifiers section, in the Used for output column, select Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 checkboxes. In the Maximum character length of output column, enter maximum character limit for Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, and List item in the corresponding fields. Note: The maximum character limit for all three fields should be more than zero but no more than 100. Add SNOMED® Codes to SNOMED Visit Type

SNOMED codes and the related details that you add in the Custom DBPicklist Setup template will appear in the SNOMED Type template in run time. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Custom DB Picklists template. In the Custom DB Picklists top grid, select SNOMED_Visit_Type.The selected DB picklist appears in the DBPicklist Name field. In the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items panel, select Configure.If the Configure button is not available in the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items panel. The Custom DBPicklist Setup template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. From the Custom DBPicklist Setup template, select Add New List Item link.The fields above the grid are enabled for documentation. In the Code Value field, enter a numeric SNOMED code. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Custom DB Picklists top grid, select OPH OcularHistory.The selected DB picklist OPH OcularHistory appears in the DBPicklist Name field. Items in the OPH OcularHistory DB picklist appear in the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items grid. Select Configure in the header of the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items panel. Note: The Configure button on the header of the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items panel appears only when you select the OPH OcularHistory DB picklist in the grid at the top of the template. If the Configure button is not visible, select the OPH OcularHistory DB Picklist in the grid at the top of the template again. Add a Custom Care Plan DB Picklist

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Custom DB Picklists template top grid, select the Care Plans custom DB picklist.The selected DBPicklist Care Plans appears in the DBPicklist Name field. Select Configure.The Care Plans Setup template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. To add new care plan data, select Add New List Items link.The fields above the grid become available for documentation. Select the Practice ID field and select the practice that uses the care plan data. In the Care Plan Type field, enter any of the following care plans: Problem Intervention Outcome Goal In the Problem field, enter a category for the problem. In the Code Set Type field, enter the code type.For example, you can include the code type SNOMED for a care plan goal. In the Code Value field, enter a code to associate with the problem. Select SNOMED® CT Codes for Quality Reporting

You can use SNOMED® CT® codes for Quality Reporting. If you do not bill from NextGen® Enterprise EHR but need to meet the visit-code criteria for Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs), you can use a SNOMED® CT code instead of a CPT® code. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For a patient record, open a new encounter. Open the Finalize template. On Evaluation and Management Coding, select the SNOMED Type (optional) link.The SNOMED Type template opens. Select a SNOMED® CT code. Select Save & Close.The NextGen® HQM application uses the selected code at the registry reporting time. Note: The code is not uploaded to the Procedures or Problems modules.
