Remove Contagion References
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the top grid of the Custom DB Picklists template, select Contagion reference links. Select Configure.The Contagion References template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. Select the row of contagion you want to remove. Select Remove.The selected row is removed from the grid. Add Website Reference Links to the Corresponding Contagions
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the top grid of the Custom DB Picklists template, select the Contagion reference links.Contagion reference links appears in the DBPicklist Name field. Select Configure.The Contagion References template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. To add a new contagion reference link, select Add New List Items link. The fields above the grid become available for documentation. To configure contagion reference links accessible to a specific practice, select inside the Practice ID field and select the appropriate option. Enter the name of the Contagion. Note: You must first add the contagion in the Contagion exposure DB picklist. Enter the Reference URL of the website that provides more information on the Contagion.You can select the information icon to view the purpose of the Contagion reference links DB picklist. Configure the Animal Type
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. On the System tab, select the All option. Select Custom DB Picklists, and then select OK. Select Animal type, and then select Configure. Search for the animal type. Dbpicklist Extended Config window displaying all the animal types that can be configured Select the animal type from the Available for add grid, and then select Add.The animal type appears in the Currently in use grid. Optional: To update an animal type, select the animal type from the Currently in use grid, make the changes, and then select Update. Contagion Reference Links
The Custom DB Picklist system template includes the Contagion reference links DB picklist to configure website reference links for various contagions entered in the Contagion exposure DB picklist. Edit Care Plan Data
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Custom DB Picklists template top grid, select the Care Plans custom DB picklist. Select Configure.The Care Plans Setup template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. Select the care plan you want to edit.The data populates in the corresponding fields above the grid. Document Contagion Risks
You can document information about the patient's contagion exposure and their travel to areas at high risk for such exposures. You can add, update, remove, or turn off contagion exposure details in the Contagion Exposure History grid when working on an unlocked encounter. You cannot modify information in a locked encounter. The contagions details are automatically flagged until turned off. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template, select the Family Practice specialty and Office Visit visit type, and then select Contagion Risk.The Contagion Exposure template opens. Select the type of document. In Exposure, select the type of contagion.NextGen® Enterprise EHR automatically fills the Exposure and Incubation details. Note: The Incubation etails appear if the incubation time period to the exposure is assigned in the Custom DB Picklist system template.
