Sort the Problem List

You can sort the problem list details. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Histories template. Expand the Problem List panel. To sort the problem list details by the last addressed date, the onset date, or the provider, select the Sort Data Grid by field, and select an appropriate option. Open Problem List

You can open the problem list to document and view a patient's problem history. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient record. To open the Problem List panel, do one of the following: In the Histories template, expand the Problem List panel. In the Home Page template, expand the Problem List panel. Note: You can use Problems in the quick button panel to open the Problems module. Add Problems in the Problem List You can add a problem to the problem list of a patient. Problem Notes

You can add a note to the problem, and the new note appears in Problem Notes grid. You can configure a default view option to filter notes with the Problem List Note setting on the Practice Configuration practice template. Add a Problem Note

You can add or update a problem note to a patient's chart when required. The problems toolbar contains a Recent Note column that displays the content of the most recent note added for the problem. Select the patient's encounter that contains the problem. Select a problem in the Problem List. Do one of the following: Right-click the problem, and then select View/Add Notes. On the toolbar of the Problem data entry area, select View/Add Notes. The Problem Notes window opens. Problem Notes Select Add Note. The Add Problem Note window opens. Filter Problem Notes

You can filter the problem notes displayed on the Problem List panel. Select a row in the Problem List grid. The details of the selected problem automatcially fill the fields below the grid. To filter the Problem Notes by the most recent note, select Most Recent Note. Note: The notes entered by other users are read-only. To view notes by the current user, select Most Recent Note by current user. To view all the problem notes associated with the selected problem, click the View all notes link.
