Document Recent ER Visits (in last 12 months) Panel
Before you begin
Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management.
If a patient has had any emergency room (ER) visits since his or her last visit or in the past 12 months, document those ER visits on this panel.
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
On the Comp Assessment tab, expand Recent ER Visits (in last 12 months) panel.
Select the Location field and then select the hospital the patient was admitted to.
Select the Date field and use the calendar to select the date the patient was admitted.
Select the Diagnosis field and type a diagnosis code for the patient.
Note: You can double-click the Diagnosis field to launch the Diagnosis search template. Use the template to search and select the diagnosis for the patient.
Select the appropriate option for Summary report received.
Select Add.
The entered record appears in the Recent ER Visits panel.
