Delete an EM Mapping
On the
E&M Bullets and Field Mapping
system template, navigate to the
EM FIELD MAPS
or
(Page 3 Fields)
section.
Select the applicable mapping row in the
Edit Fields
data grid.
Note:
You have to select the
EM Type
and the
Table
fields whose mapping is to be deleted, if it is not already selected.
Click the
Delete
button.
The mapping no longer appears in the data grid.
When you have completed the changes, click the
Apply Changes
button to activate the changes.

Modify an EM Mapping
On the E&M Bullets and Field Mapping system template, access the EM FIELD MAPS section. Select the applicable mapping row from the data grid. Click the EM Bullet ID field or the Specific Value field. Select the new value from the picklist and click the Update button. The selected mapping appears in the data grid, with the modified value. EM Field Maps Data Grid
The description of fields listed in the EM Field Maps data grid is: Field Description Table Name The table or template name selected in the Table field just above the data grid. Field Name The native field on the selected table or template. Any Val Gives Point The assigned field value (for example 0 or 1, y or no, etc.) Specific Value The assigned value from a pick list selection. Bullet ID The mapped bullet identifier. When selecting a mapping on the EM BULLET ID – FIELD MAPPING data grid, the default mapping for the field type is added to the Edit Fields data grid in the EM FIELD MAPS section of the template. In this example, the MS_All option in the EM Type field and the pe_cardiovascular option in the Table field are selected. Add Multiple Mappings to a Field
On the E&M Bullets and Field Mapping system template, map the field with the first appropriate bullet ID on the EM BULLET ID – FIELD MAPPING section, in the Page 2 (Mapping) section of the template. Navigate to the EM Field Maps section in the Page 3 (Fields) section, and select the applicable mapping row in the data grid. Click the EM Bullet ID field, above the data grid to launch the picklist. From the picklist, highlight the applicable bullet ID and click the Add button. By default, the Any value for field gives coding point option is selected, and none is selected in the Specific Value field. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to add more bullet ID mappings. In this example, the MS_All option is selected in the EM Type field, the pe_cardiovascular option is selected in the Table field, and the abnormal_s1_dtl option is selected in the Field Name field. Map a Specific Value of a Field
On the E&M Bullets and Field Mapping system template, map the field with the first appropriate bullet ID on EM BULLET ID – FIELD MAPPING section, in the Page 2 (Mapping) section of the template. Go to the EM Field Maps section in the Page 3 (Fields) section, and in the data grid, select the row added in the previous step. Click the EM Bullet ID field, above the data grid to launch the picklist. From the picklist, select the applicable bullet ID and click the Add button. The new mapping is listed in the data grid. By default the Specific value(s) for field give coding point option is selected. In this example, the MS_All option is selected in the EM Type field, the pe_cardiovascular option is selected in the Table field, and the abnormal_s1_dtl option is selected in the Field Name field. The abnormal_s1_dtl field is already listed in the data grid, shown as being mapped to the EM Bullet ID option ms_cardio_1. Delete a Template from the EM Table List
On the E&M Bullets and Field Mapping template, navigate to the EM TABLE LIST or Page 4 (Tables) section. In the Table Name grid, highlight the template, you want to delete. When a template is highlighted in the grid, a Delete button appears. Click the Delete button. When you have completed the changes, click the Apply Changes button to activate the changes. Delete an EM Coding Bullet
CAUTION: You must use caution when deleting rows from the EM CODING BULLETS data grid. On the E&M Bullets and Field Mapping system template, access the EM CODING BULLETS section. In the Edit Fields grid, select the applicable row. The Edit Fields found above the data grid populates with the selected data. Click the Delete button. Note: The Delete button is visible only after a row has been selected from the data grid. The row no longer appears in the data grid.
