You can create a default template set using the Quick Save template.
 
  To create a template default set for data you entered on a template or panel, use the Quick Save template.
  
 
  - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 
  - Select the Quick Save button.
   
    The 
Quick Save template opens. 
    
    Note: The Options panel is unavailable.
    
 
    
  - In the Save As field, enter a name for the Quick Save default set.
   
NextGen Healthcare recommends entering a name in the <your initials> <gender> <default name> format (for example, AK_female_Asthma HPI).
   
    
  - Select one of the following:
   
    - All Specialties sets the Quick Save settings to be available across all specialties. This option is set as the default.
 
    - Current Specialty Only  sets the Quick Save settings to be available only in the currently opened specialty.
 
   
 
  - Select Save & Close.
   
    The Quick Save default is been created and added to the Quick Save grid.
