Load Template Default Sets with Quick Load

You can load existing default set values to a template or a panel. Using Quick Load, you can use a default set created for a template or panel with the Quick Save template. You can modify values as needed after the default set values are loaded to the template or panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Quick Load on a template or panel.The Quick Load window opens. Select Quick Save default set. Select OK.The default set values appear on the selected template. Make any modifications. Select OK. Update a Quick Save Default Set for a Single Template

You can update a quick save default set for a single template from the Quick Save template. Using the Quick Save template, you can update and/or overwrite a quick save default set that is generated from a single template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Update the date on the specific single window template and then select the Quick Save button.The Quick Save template opens. In the Quick Saves grid, select an existing default set. Remove a Quick Save Default Set for Multiple Templates

You can only remove, not update, a default template set from multiple windows. You can delete but not overwrite an existing default set created from multiple windows. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Quick Save template, select a quick save default set from the Quick Saves grid. Note: When the Number of Screens column indicates Multiple, the Remove button is enabled, and the Update button is unavailable. Quick Save To delete the existing default set, select Remove. Create Template Default Sets with Quick Save

You can create a default template set using the Quick Save template. To create a template default set for data you entered on a template or panel, use the Quick Save template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Quick Save button.The Quick Save template opens. Quick Save Note: The Options panel is unavailable. In the Save As field, enter a name for the Quick Save default set.NextGen Healthcare recommends entering a name in the <your initials> <gender> <default name> format (for example, AK_female_Asthma HPI). Select one of the following: All Specialties sets the Quick Save settings to be available across all specialties. This option is set as the default. Current Specialty Only sets the Quick Save settings to be available only in the currently opened specialty. Quick Save and Quick Load

You can create default sets for a template or a panel quickly for future or other patient encounters. The Quick Save and Quick Load buttons are available on multiple templates and panels. For example, you can access these buttons on the Asthma - HPI template in the Reason for Visit panel. You can save multiple Quick Save buttons for different scenarios based on patient characteristics such as age, sex, or other specific clinical scenarios. Remove a Quick Task

You can remove a task from the Quick Task Setup template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Orders panel, select the Standing Orders link.The Office Services template opens. On the Office Services template, select Quick Task or .The Quick Task Setup template opens, displaying the existing tasks in the grid.
