ASC - Scheduling Questions Template

You can add necessary information for a patient using the ASC Scheduling Questions template. The ASC Scheduling Questions template is documented by the scheduler by obtaining necessary information from the patient prior to the day of the procedure. The Scheduler contacts the patient to obtain the information required to appropriately schedule the patient for the procedure. Communication Panel on the ASC - Communication Template

The Communication panel displays data documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Questions template, only if the case ID of the encounters is identical. The clinicians can review the documented details and perform a follow-up or add call details, as appropriate. Record a Telephone Conversation in the Communication Panel

You can record a telephonic conversation held with the patient using the Communication panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the applicable reason from the left pane of the Communication panel. Select Add. Note: If you want to document only outgoing call details, select the Outgoing Call button. The corresponding template opens. In the template, enter the appropriate details in the Call Information, Contact Information, Communication, Comments , and Actions sections. Note: You can use the My Phrases link at the top-right of the Comments field to add comments. For more information on managing and using the My Phrases functionality, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Getting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. If you want to task the details to a recipient for any further action, select Priority and select the priority of the task. Select Send & Close.The Select Task Recipient template opens. Provider Test Action Sub-Navigational Link

The Provider Test Action sub-navigational link opens the Provider Test Action template to document the actions to be taken after the review of patient results, as well as to view the patient's appointment and contact information. Providers enter and manage brief action details or notes and the tasks for future encounters. Note: The Provider Test Action template is also available from the left navigation bar.
