Provider Test Action Sub-Navigational Link

The Provider Test Action sub-navigational link opens the Provider Test Action template to document the actions to be taken after the review of patient results, as well as to view the patient's appointment and contact information. Providers enter and manage brief action details or notes and the tasks for future encounters. Note: The Provider Test Action template is also available from the left navigation bar. Communication Panel on the ASC - Communication Template

The Communication panel displays data documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Questions template, only if the case ID of the encounters is identical. The clinicians can review the documented details and perform a follow-up or add call details, as appropriate. Open the Templates Associated with Procedure Post Discharge Visit Type

The Procedure Post Discharge visit type of the Ambulatory Surgery specialty allows you to document the post discharge details. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates. On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. In the Show section, select the All option. Select Home Page from the list of Medical Records templates. Select OK.The Home Page template opens. Select the Specialty list and select Ambulatory Surgery from the list. A list opens to select visit type. Select Procedure Post Discharge from the picklist. The Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template opens. In the Home Page - Ambulatory Surgery template, you can view the data documented by the provider or nurse on the Procedure visit type and Procedure Preadmission visit type. Communication Sub-Navigational Link

You can record patient details under the applicable category using the ASC Communication template. The Communications sub-navigational link starts the ASC - Communication template to document information obtained during a telephone conversion. The scheduler contacts the patient and records the details under the applicable category/reason available in the left pane of the Communication panel on the ASC - Communication template. Options in the Communication template The Communication panel includes the following filters: Status: Displays the call records based on the selected status of the call. View only case related calls: Displays the case specific call details. Record a Telephone Conversation in the Communication Panel You can record a telephonic conversation held with the patient using the Communication panel. The Communication panel displays the data documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Questions template and the clinical support staff on the ASC - Pre admission and ASC - Communication templates.
