In the nursing care plan data, you can provide details of the identified problem, goal and outcome.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Access the Care Coordination Home Template.
- From the Nursing Care Plan History panel, select Add.
The
Nursing Care Plan Data template opens.
- In the following fields, type the appropriate text or select Common Phrases and select a phrase.
- Problems
- Goals
- Outcome
- Intervention
Note: For the Problem, Goals and Outcome fields, you can also select Previous Problem, Previous Goals, or Previous Outcomes and select an entry from previously saved information.
- Select the Status field and select the current status.
- Provide the Start date, Next team review date and Next intervention due date. You can select a date from the displayed calendar.
- The system populates the Team Member field with the name of the default provider.
Note: To select another team member, select the Team Member field and select the team member who is responsible for the current intervention from the resulting pick list.
- Select the Role field and then select a role.
- Select the Intervention frequency field and then select a frequency of the intervention.
- If the planned intervention is completed, select Intervention complete option.
- In the Intervention Progress field, type a description of the progress achieved in the intervention.
- Do one of the following:
- To add another intervention to the current plan, select Save & Add New Intervention.
- To add another nursing care plan, select Save & Add New.
- To complete definition of all nursing care plans and related interventions, select Save & Close
The system saves the current data and closes the template and the data that you entered appears on the Nursing Care Plan History panel.
