Add a Lab Test Item to Pediatric Guidelines

You can add a lab test item to the pediatric guidelines.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Click the File menu, and select System \ Practice Template.
3. On the Select Template window, click the Practice tab.
4. In the Show section, click All.
5. Select Flowsheets Setup, and click OK.
   The Flowsheets Setup template opens.

   

6. Click the Condition field, and select Peds in the list.
7. To configure for a provider, click the Provider field and select a rendering provider in the list.
8. Click the blank field above Category, and select Lab Test.
9. Click the blank field above Item Name and select a lab test item and click OK to add to the Peds guideline.
10. Click Add.
    The lab test item has been added to the Peds guidelines.
