Open the Home Page Template

You can obtain the patient summary on the Home Page template. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates. On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select Home Page, and then select OKThe Home Page template opens. Viewing Template Links on the Home Page Template

On the Home Page template, you can view and open links to other templates based on the selected specialty. The recommended workflow for a patient encounter is to begin on the Home Page template. If you set up the Home Page template as the default, then the same template automatically opens as the first template for an encounter. You can also open the generic Home Page template from the Templates module. You can review and document the summary of a patient's problems, history, allergies, medications, vital signs, orders, and so on, on the Home Page template. Home Page Template

You can review and document the summary of a patient's information on the Home Page template. The Home Page template allows you to view and document patients' problems, history, allergies, medications, vital signs, orders, and so on. Open the Allergy Home Page

You can use the Templates module to open the Home Page - Allergy template. Before you begin When you open the Home Page - Allergy template, ensure to select the specialty and visit type to open the framework template set for Allergy and Immunology. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates. On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. Select the Medical Records tab. In the Show section, select the All option. Home Page Template

The recommended workflow for the Family Practice specialty is to begin a patient encounter on the Home Page template. If you have set up the Home Page template as the default template, it opens as the first template for a new encounter. Documenting Pediatric Patient Encounter

You can use the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Pediatrics specialty templates to document the encounter details for different visit types of a pediatric patient. The Pediatrics User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine mainly focuses on Office Visit, Virtual Visit, and Well child visit types. You can configure the Pediatric Age setting in the Practice Configuration template to display age-appropriate content throughout the Pediatric specialty template set. The common configurations and features available in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine enables you to document the pediatric encounter details in a more efficient way.
