Test Your Device
Check your devices for compatibility with NextGen Virtual Visits™. The test checks your camera, microphone, and bandwidth. From your browser, select the menu icon Menu icon on the NextGen Virtual Visits™ toolbar, and then select Test My Device. The Test My Device page opens. Test My Device page If your browser notifies you that the Website wants to access your camera and microphone, select Allow for each device. Select Run Test. The Connectivity bar tracks the progress of the test. When the test is complete, a window displays your test result. Configure Your Camera and Microphone for Windows
Allow your browser to access to camera and microphone. On the Windows® task bar, select Start Start button, and then select Settings Settings button. The Windows Settings window opens. Windows Settings Enter microphone privacy into the search field. The microphone privacy settings appear. Windows privacy settings for microphone Set Let apps use my microphone to On. For a successful visit with NextGen Virtual Visits™, all users must have the following: A strong internet connection, preferably a wired connection. For local network or router configuration, you can set the Quality of Service (QoS) priority high for telehealth sites to optimize video streaming. A supported device with a working front-facing camera, microphone, and speakers. Ensure that your device is using the latest supporting operating system For a Universal Serial Bus (USB) webcam, ensure that your webcam is connected to a high-speed USB 2.0 port. Update your USB webcam's firmware and software to the latest versions. A supported browser for your device. Ensure that your browser can access the camera and microphone.
