You can document the details when a parent (main participant) leaves the child welfare program.
When a parent (main participant) leaves a foster care program, the providers document the discharge summary on the
CW Summary/Case Closure (BH) template. The foster parent can leave the program for a variety of reasons.
- Parent adopted their foster child.
- Parent are no longer open to fostering or adoption.
- Parent are not eligible for foster care programs.
You can use the
Signature (Tasking Supervisor/Staff for review and signoff) panel on the template to request secondary approval or attestation from another user. You can send a task to the approver requesting approval. The approver can use this panel to add their electronic signature and generate a Signature Attestation document that is separate from the template document.
Note: You must use the Signature (Tasking Supervisor/Staff for review and signoff) panel only when you need secondary approval.
You can generate the discharge summary of the foster parents, and perform the following in the generated document:
- Editing the document using the editor.
- Signing off the document by selecting the tick icon in the upper-right corner.
- Printing the document by selecting the printer icon.
