Document the Medication Prescriber Details for the Patient

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select MAR Prescribers (BH), and then select OK. Note: You can open the MAR Prescribers (BH) template from your Packet Navigation, or from the Templates module. For more information on configuring Packet Navigation, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite. Select the program, specialty, and visit type. Note: Only programs that the patient is actively enrolled in appear in the list. You can select <No Program> to create an encounter without a program, and then add the program later. Select the medication from the active list and update the stop dates. Open Templates and Documents

You can open multiple templates and documents from one landing page using the Packet Navigation (BH) template. Note: When you open a template using a link from the Packet Navigation (BH) template, Packet Navigation is automatically saved to the encounter after closing it. You can configure the Packet Navigation on the BH Foundation Configuration template. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For an encounter, select Open Template.The Select Template window opens. In the Medical Records tab, select Packet Navigation (BH).The Packet Navigation (BH) template opens. Select a Program.The landing page configured for the selected program opens. Packet Navigation template In the Time Entry Navigation sidebar, select Billing Time Entry, and then enter the start time. View Patient Appointments

Before you begin You must ensure that you have an active license for NextGen® Enterprise PM. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR Appointments Quick Button, you can view patients future and past appointments based on configuration. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. On the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Appointments.The Appointments table appears displaying the configuration message, the patient's future and recent past appointments and date and time, status, resource or provider, location and reason columns. When the View by Resource is selected in the Inbox module of NextGen® Enterprise EHR, the resource column appears in the Appointments table; similarly, when the View by Provider is selected, the provider column appears. Note: The patient's future appointments appear first on the Appointments table, highlighted in bold text, followed by recent past appointments. Document the Patient's Psychiatric Directive

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select Psychiatric Advance Directive (BH), and then select OK. Select the program, specialty, and visit type. Note: Only programs that the patient is actively enrolled in appear in the list. You can select <No Program> to create an encounter without a program, and then add the program later. In the General panel, document the directives for the billing guidelines. In the Psychiatric Healthcare Proxy panel, document the details of the healthcare proxy. In the Directives on File panel, document the pre-configured evaluation questions. In the Medication Choices panel, document the medications agreed upon and refused by the patient. In the Hospital/Provider Choices panel, document the hospital and provider details.
