As a Primary Care Provider (PCP), you can switch between the Behavioral Health templates and Primary Care templates within NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
To open a PCP template, you need to configure the Program and templates in the BH Foundation Configuration template and client Demographic (BH) template.
- Open the Packet Navigation (BH) template.
- In Program, select the program your practice has created for Primary Care.
The landing page your practice has configured for the Primary Care program opens.
- To open a template or document from your Packet Navigation, select the respective link.
When the template opens, Behavioral Health is the default specialty and General Medical Exam is the default visit type.
- In Specialty and Visit Type, select the appropriate option from the list.
- Optional: To open additional primary care templates, use the tabs and sub-navigation links.
Note: If you use the BH Packet Navigation to change templates, the system updates the Specialty and Visit Type from Primary Care and selected visit type back to Behavioral Health and General Medical Exam, respectively. You must reselect the Primary Care selections for the packet to display appropriate fields for a Primary Care visit.
