Modify an Existing Group Encounter
You can change an existing group encounter's date as well as time using the Group Encounter Management (BH) template.
- From the Existing Group Encounters section, select in the Patient Group field.
A Group List picklist opens.
- From the Group List picklist, select the group name and then select OK.
The most recent 15 encounters for that group are displayed under the Group Encounters section.
- From the Group Encounters section, select an encounter.
A list of all clients that are part of the group encounter displays in the Participant List grid.Note: The Charge Qty and Document Qty columns in the Participant List grid displays a 1 when the encounter includes either a charge or a generated document for this client. If the Charge Qty displays a 1, then it is too late to change the encounter date. If a 0 is displayed, the encounter has not yet been billed or a document has not yet been generated in the selected encounter.
- To update the encounter date and/or encounter time, select into the respective field and enter your updates.
- Select Update Selected.
A confirmation message appears.
- To change all encounter dates and/or times attached to the selected group, select Yes.
If you select No, your encounter date/time update is not saved.
- To open a participant’s chart from the Group Encounter Management (BH) template, select the participant’s name in the Participant List and then select Open Chart.
Note: When you select Open Chart, the Group Encounter Management (BH) template closes and the participant’s chart displays.
- Select Save and then close the template.
