Billing Signatures

You can use the BH Foundation Configuration template to configure the Signatures DB picklist used in the Signature (Tasking Supervisor/Staff for review and signoff) panel of billing templates. The signature can be saved to a template and is included on documents generated from the template. To control the default signature information, you can use the following qualifiers in the Qualifier 1 field. Qualifier 1 Value Defaults N None: No data defaults in the signature fields. C Client: Defaults to the currently active patient information. P Provider: Defaults to the provider set as the NextGen® Enterprise user in System Administrator. U User: Defaults to the current user's name. You can also configure the Signatures picklist to enable providers to add text in the Name field used in the Signature (Tasking Supervisor/Staff for review and signoff) panel. Update a DB Picklist

Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and expand the BH DBPicklists panel. In the DBPicklist Name grid, select a picklist. The picklist name appears in the DBPicklist Name field. In the List Item grid, select a picklist value. The list item value appears in the List Item field. Modify the value and then select Update. The new value appears in the grid. Required Fields Configuration

Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and then expand the Required Fields Configuration panel. Required Fields Configuration panel For the required template, select the checkbox next to the field to make it required. Select Save. Sign the Behavioral Health Document

Multiple people can sign the Behavioral Health document utilizing the Signature panel. Security on the Signatures panel is set up so that only the person who checks a signature line can alter it in any way. The client and/or parent/guardian’s signatures can be captured with electronic signature software. To document your signature in the Signatures panel, place a check mark next to the appropriate label. The current user’s name fills the Name field and the current date populates the date of the signature. Enter your Credentials. Select N/A to indicate that a signature is not applicable and to clear the fields of anything that may have been entered in the same row. Click the Send Task button to forward the template to the next person who needs to record their signature. If your signature does not fall under the preset options, enter your Name and Credentials in the Additional Staff section. Enter Comments as needed. Click Add. Complete Billing

When completing the ART Meeting Note, CFT Meeting Note, or Staffing Note templates, you use the Billing panel to submit your charges. To indicate the service is not billable, select No Billing for Service checkbox. Note: You can skip the remaining steps. To document Interpreter, Cultural, Counseling Details, select the respective link. In the Assigned Provider field, select a provider’s name from the list and then select Add.
