Configure Signature List for Free Text Name Field

Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and then expand the BH Content panel. Select the Signatures DB Picklist and create a list item with the following details. In the Item List field, enter Parent\Guardian. In the Qualifier 1 field, enter N. Select Add. The Parent\Guardian list item appears in the Signatures list. Select Save. Note: The Name field is available to enter free text when the Parent\Guardian option is selected in the Signature (Tasking Supervisor/Staff for review and signoff) panel on the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates. When completing the ART Meeting Note, CFT Meeting Note, or Staffing Note templates, you use the Billing panel to submit your charges. To indicate the service is not billable, select No Billing for Service checkbox. Note: You can skip the remaining steps. To document Interpreter, Cultural, Counseling Details, select the respective link. In the Assigned Provider field, select a provider’s name from the list and then select Add. The providers name displays in the grid. Billing panel Enter a Start Time and End Time. The Duration field fills in. Note: If the end time is earlier than the start time, an alert appears prompting you to re-enter the start/stop time. This also occurs if the total duration is more than 12 hours. Document Integrated Service Plan Information

In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Integrated Service Plan (BH), and then select OK. Select the program, specialty, and visit type for the patient. Select whether the treatment program is the initial assessment or an annual update to an existing assessment. Expand the Family Vision/Treatment Involvement panel, and enter details about the patient's treatment program. In the Support Resources section, select Add to enter the patient's guardian details. In the Person's Strengths section, select the patient's strengths, and then select Add. Enter details in the Additional Services/Discharge Plan panel. Add the screening tools and the corresponding assessment scores to the current encounter. Note: You can open the Screening Tools template to complete more assessments by selecting the Screening Tools link. Select the expected discharge date for the patient

Document the Patient's Residential Discharge Summary

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select Residential Discharge Summary (BH), and then select OK. Note: You can open the Residential Discharge Summary (BH) template from your Packet Navigation, or from the Templates module. For more information on configuring Packet Navigation, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite. Select the program, specialty, and visit type. Note: Only programs that the patient is actively enrolled in appear in the list. You can select <No Program> to create an encounter without a program, and then add the program later. Select the patient's discharge date and time.
