Client-defined Configuration

You can configure buttons to add in the sub-templates that can open a specific template or a document. As a Practice administrator, you can use the BH Client Defined panel on the BH Foundation Configuration template to configure custom buttons. You can insert the configured buttons on the sub-templates using the tis_sub_fields_btn_config option from the New Sub Template picklist on the Sub Template Configuration (BH) template. Configure Sub-templates

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window appears with the system-related templates. Select All. The list of all the system templates appears. Select Sub Template Configuration (BH), and then select OK. Select Template Name, and then select the template from the list. Select the current sub-template from the list. Select New Sub Template, and then select the sub-template from the list. Note: The New Sub Template picklist shows the list of the custom sub-templates only. Optional: To edit the panel caption, enter the required caption. Select Apply. The sub-template is applied to the configured template. Note: When you configure a template with a sub-template, the template does not appear in the next new configuration. You can configure a template only once. Optional: To remove your custom sub-template from a configured template, select the record, and then select Restore. The sub-template configuration is removed from the associate

Configure a Packet Navigation

When you configure a packet, you must select a program to assign the packet to. You can also configure a packet for a single practice or an entire enterprise. Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and then expand the Packet/Intake Prescreen/Regulatory Items Configuration panel. Select either Packet, Intake Prescreen, or Regulatory Category. Packet Configuration panel In the Practice field, do one of the following: To configure a practice-specific packet, select a practice. To configure a packet for an enterprise, leave it blank. In Program/Category, select a program from the list. Select a number to apply the configuration to the selected position. The selected number appears in the # field. In the Subgroup field, do one of the following: To create a section header, select Header. To add blank space between items, select Spacer. To open a document from the packet, select Document. To open a template from the packet, select Template. In Caption, enter the header text to display

Create a Tool Tip Configuration

You can configure tooltips or informative text windows for a specific field in a table. The fields across the top of the Tool Tips Configuration panel correspond with the data grid below. For example, when you select the field above the Template column, the list of templates appears. Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and then expand the Tool Tip Configuration panel. Tool Tip Configuration panel Select a template from the picklist. Select a table from the picklist. Note: The picklist displays the list of tables available on the selected template in the Template field. Select a field from the picklist for which you want to add a tooltip. Note: The picklist displays the list of fields available in the selected table. Enter a description in the Tip Header field to display as the tip header. Delete Tabs from a Program, Practice, or Location

Open the BH Foundation Configuration template. Select the required program, practice, or location. Expand the Tabs & Sub Navigation panel.The tabs configured for the selected program, practice, or location appear in the grid.
