Send Message
When you select the Send Message task, a dialog pops up allowing you to select the message to send. Type in a custom message, or select a file from disk to process. When reading a file, you can open it as a "Text" file which uses the default Java charset encoding. You can also open it as a "Binary" file, which pastes in the Base64-encoded contents of the actual file bytes. If you select multiple file names, the ability to edit is disabled. The text "Multiple Messages Selected" will be displayed in the preview panel. On processing, each selected file will be sent as individual messages.
When sending a message to a channel, you can use the destinations table to select in advance which destinations you want to process the message through.
- If your channel logic is dependent on specific source map variables, you can also inject values for those in this dialog.
Once you are ready to send the message, select the Process Message button.
