Dashboard Tasks
The following context-specific tasks are available from the Dashboard View:

Refresh | Updates the Dashboard Table and the currently selected Dashboard tab. Note that the Dashboard automatically refreshes at an interval defined in the Administrator Settings. | |
Send Message | Sends a message to the selected channel. For additional information, see Send Message. | |
View Messages | View messages for the selected channel. Enters the Message Browser view. | |
Remove All Messages | Removes all messages and attachments stored for the selected channel(s). This action cannot be undone. For additional information, see Remove All Messages. | |
Clear All Statistics | Resets the current statistics to zero for the selected channel(s) / connector(s). This option is only available when Current Statistics is selected in the Dashboard Table. For additional information, see Clear All Statistics | |
Start | Starts or resumes the selected channel(s) / connector(s). Note that the Channel Dependencies workflow may apply to this task. | |
Pause | Pauses the selected channel(s). This is equivalent to stopping the source connector. Note that the Channel Dependencies workflow may apply to this task. | |
Stop | Stops the selected channel(s) / connector(s). Any currently processing messages will first be finished. Note that the Channel Dependencies workflow may apply to this task. | |
Halt | Attempts to stop the selected channel(s) immediately. Any messages currently processing through the channel will be left incomplete. The channel will attempt to recover unfinished messages when it is started back up. | |
Undeploy Channel | Removes the channel from the list of deployed channels. Once undeployed, the channel will no longer appear on the dashboard, and instead will only be visible from the Channels view. When undeploying, the channel will first be gracefully stopped, and any currently processing messages will first be finished. Note that the Channel Dependencies workflow may apply to this task. |
