Server Dashboard

The Server Dashboard provides a deeper look into a single server by displaying detailed information about the server’s configuration, channels, and flow of messages.

On the Server Dashboard, you will normally see the following:

  • Inbound Sources panel
  • Server Information panel
  • Outbound Destinations panel
  • Date picker
NumberPanel / Feature NameDescription
Inbound SourcesEach inbound source represents a Channel Group from Mirth Connect.

Example: In the image, above, four channels that exist in a "Hospital A" group in Mirth® Connect appear in this dashboard as a single inbound source named Hospital A.

Any channels in the Default Group in Mirth® Connect will appear as individual inbound sources.

Server InformationThe Server Information panel shows detailed information about the server including:
  • Online: The server online status.
  • URL: The server’s URL.
  • Version: The Mirth® Connect version.
  • Java Version: The Java Version.
  • Database: The Database being used in Mirth Connect.
  • Operating System: The operating system used by the server.
  • JVM CPU usage: The current and historical JVM CPU usage for the server.
  • Disk Usage: the current and historical disk usage for the server.
  • Memory (JVM Heap) Usage: The current and historical memory (JVM Heap) Usage for the server.
  • Queued: The total current and historic messages across all destination queues for the server.
Outbound DestinationsThe Outbound Destinations panel shows outbound destinations for any channels (enabled, disabled, deployed, and undeployed). Outbound Destinations includes any of the following destination connectors:
  • DICOM Sender
  • Database Writer
  • Document Writer
  • File Writer
  • HTTP Sender
  • JMS Sender
  • SMTP Sender
  • TCP Sender
  • Web Service Sender
  • NextGen Results Sender

If no outbound sources exist, the Outbound Sources panel will not appear.

Start DateThe Start Date date allows you to control the range of historical metric data shown in this dashboard.

For example, if the Start Date is set to 3 days in the past, the range of data displayed in the charts and total counts (received, sent, errored) will be for the past 3 days (from 12:00am on the start date to the present date and time).

Once you change the Start Date, a notification appears indicating that the dashboard has been updated to reflect the new time range.

To change the Start Date:

  • Click the calendar icon and select the start date on the calendar, OR
  • Type a past date in the date field (Format: mm/dd/yyyy)
