You can view significant events for charge discounts from the following areas in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab
Significant Events Report
To view the significant events for charge discounts in Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab, do the following:
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Select Chart.
The Patient Lookup window opens.
Enter Search Criteria to locate the desired patient.
Select Find.
All existing persons and patients that match the search criteria display in the Matching Records section of the window.
In the Matching Records list, double-click to open the patient.
The Patient Chart window opens.
Select the Clinical History/Notes tab.
Select History, and then select Encounters.
The section on the right displays significant event messages for all encounters. Each message includes Date/Time, Creator, and Description information. Messages related to charge discounts include the following:
Patient Discount [Transaction Code] Created
Patient Discount [Transaction Code] Deleted
Patient Discount [Transaction Code] Edited
To view the Significant Events for charge discounts in the Significant Events report, do the following:
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Select the Reports menu, and then Select General.
Select Significant Events.
The NextGen Report Filter window opens.
Filter the report to include the desired data. You can do the following:
Select Filter 1, and then select a Create Date range for significant events created within the range.
Select Creator, and then select specific Users for created, modified or deleted charge discounts.
In the Sig Events Msgs field, select one or more significant events.
Patient Discount <Name of Discount> Created
Patient Discount < Name of Discount> Deleted (In Progress)
