Open
NextGen® Enterprise PM
.
Search for and open the patient's account.
The
Account Profile
window opens.
Select the
Notes
tab.
Under the
Folders
panel, expand the
Forms
folder.
The
E-signed Forms
and
Receipts
folders appear.
To display all electronically signed receipts for the patient, select the
E-Signed Forms
folder.
Note:
When a transaction is deleted, the receipt is also deleted.
To display all electronically stored receipts for the patient, select the
Receipts
folder.

Print Chart Level Archived Electronic Receipts
You can use the Clinical History/Chart Notes tab to view an archived copy of a credit card receipt or e-check payment. You can demand print a receipt with or without an electronic signature. Note: When a transaction is deleted, the receipt is also deleted. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open the patient chart, and then select the Clinical History/Chart Notes tab. Under the Folders panel, expand the Forms folder. The Receipts folder appears. To print a receipt, expand the Receipts folder or the E-Signed Forms folder. Print a Credit Card Receipt
The Print menu includes the CC Processing Receipt option. You can print a receipt for either posted or unposted credit card payments. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Posting . The Batch Posting window opens. Double-click the batch header record. The Payment Entry window opens. In the Payer field, select Patient. In the Pay Code field, select the electronic payment's transaction code. In the Pay field, enter the dollar amount of the payment. Note: The CC Pay button becomes active after the Payer, Pay Code, and Pay fields are filled. Ask the Patient to e-sign. Select the Print icon. The receipt prints and an archived copy of the receipt is stored at the account level for source account, budget, or invoice transactions. Review the fields that are printed on the receipt. Set Up Printer Options in User Preferences
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. In the Printing tab, select Account Receipt, and then right-click and select Open. The Print window opens. Enter the applicable details. To further define how you want to print your receipts, select Properties. Select OK. Set Up Printer Options in Practice Preferences
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > Printing. The User Preferences window opens. Select Account Receipt, then right-click and select Open. The Print window opens. Set Up User and Timestamp Options in Practice Preferences
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. Select Itemized Bills. In the User/Timestamp Options field, do one of the following: To display the username, user ID, date, and time of the transaction on the receipt, select Show UserNameUserID/Timestamp (default). To display the user ID, receipt date, and time of the transaction on the receipt, select Show UserID/Timestamp. Note: When printing receipts you can identify the user who issued the receipt by user ID or username. Close the Practice Preferences window. View Account Level E-Signed Forms and Receipts
An archived copy of an electronic credit card or e-check receipt is stored at the account level for source account, budget, or invoice transactions. Note: When a transaction is deleted, the receipt is also deleted. Select the Account icon and on the Account Lookup window, search for the patient's account. The Account Profile window opens. Select the Notes tab. Open the Forms folder, by double-clicking the expand icon . The E-signed Forms and receipts folders display. Select the E-Signed Forms folder to display all electronically signed receipts for the patient. Select the Receipts folder to display all electronically stored receipts for the patient.
