Using AutoFlow to Collect UDS Information

Health Centers can set up their Auto-Flow Sequences used for check-in and check-out to ensure that all necessary UDS information is captured for each patient. When the following screen items are included in the Auto-Flow Sequence, users are taken to each of these tabs on the Add/Modify Patient Information window during check-in or check-out. TheAutoFlowuser preferences enable you to select AutoFlow Sequencesthat affect the check-in and check-out processes inNextGen® Enterprise PM. An AutoFlow sequence includes a defined series of windows that you must follow when you check-in patients prior to their appointments, and check-out patients after their appointments. Default AutoFlow sequences for all users in the practice are selected by location in yourAutoFlowpractice preferences. You can also select AutoFlow sequences by location in your user preferences.
