After an appointment is scheduled in NextGen® Enterprise PM for a follow-up that originated in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, the Appt Date and Appt Time on the follow-up can be updated in both applications.
Access the Appointment Book in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Open the appointment that was scheduled for the follow-up.
The Edit Appointment window opens.
Select the Recall/Waitlist tab.
In the Follow Ups section, select the follow-up that corresponds to the appointment.
Right-click on the follow-up and select Update KBM with PM Appt Date.
The followup is updated with the appointment date and time in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
Note:
The appointment must be saved in NextGen® Enterprise PM before the Update KBM with PM Appt Date option is available for selection.
A confirmation prompt does not display after selecting the Update KBM with PM Appt Date option. The follow-up is updated immediately in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
To see the updated Appt Date and Appt Time on the appointment in NextGen® Enterprise PM, the Edit Appointment window must be refreshed by doing one of the following:
Change tabs and then come back to Recall/Waitlist tab.
Close and re-open the appointment.
If the appointment is cancelled after the Update KBM with PM Appt Date option is selected, the Appt Date and Appt Time are removed from the follow-up in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
