Charge Place of Service Hierarchy

On the Charge Posting window, the Place of Service (POS) for a charge is derived from the pre-selected options in the Practice Preferences Charge Entry tab. In File Maintenance, it is derived from the Locations master file, or in the Service Items Library Maintenance window. While entering a charge, if the Place of Service field is not automatically filled based on the setup, you must enter it manually. Add Message - Communication with Billing

View Online Payment Transactions

You can search for and view all the Medfusion Pay and Online Bill Pay payment transactions that the practice has submitted through Practice Portal. Log on to Practice Portal. On the My Home page, in the left pane, select Online Payment Search.The Online Payments section displays the search criteria. The Online Payments section displays search criteria such as the date and time, location, credit card type, and payment type To define the scope of your search, enter values for one or more of the fields in Online Payments. Charge Posting for Anesthesia Billing

Once you have setup your practice to support anesthesia billing by completing the setup for anesthesia concurrency billing, and defined your claim rules and SIM pricing options in File Maintenance for anesthesia, you need to select a default practice-level Anesthesia Library and set up an ASA Crosswalk library to activate the crosswalk file on the Charge Posting window before entering charges for anesthesia services.
